The BIG SEE website is an international platform focused on architecture, design, and creative industries, with a strong emphasis on Southeast Europe but a global reach. Its core role goes beyond showcasing projects—it actively organizes events (festivals, conferences), runs award programs, and facilitates professional networking.

The platform combines several layers: it features awarded projects and their authors, editorial content such as articles and interviews, and open calls for events and competitions, functioning as a hybrid of a magazine, event platform, and industry hub.

In essence, BIG SEE operates as a curated ecosystem that promotes creative excellence and connects architects, designers, investors, and brands, with a strong focus on visibility, networking, and regional identity within a global context.

Our project ATARhouse has been selected for the 48th Salon of Architecture in Belgrade.

The Salon of Architecture is a traditional annual event organized by the Museum of Applied Arts, established in 1974, and realized in collaboration with relevant and renowned associations, organizations, institutions, and individuals in the field of architecture. As an important legacy of both the Museum and the architectural community in Serbia, the event aims to promote the finest architectural achievements in the country, as well as to affirm the role and position of architecture in society.

A mixed-use building in Metković – contemporary architecture aligned with the local context

The residential–commercial building in Metković is conceived as a contemporary response to the needs of urban living, while respecting the local context, climatic conditions, and seismic requirements of the area.

We would like to thank the “M-Kvadrat” magazine for publishing an article about our latest competition project in Argentina.

Villa Juanita is not just a house; it is an interpretation of living in harmony with nature — a place where spaces blend seamlessly with the surroundings, and architecture becomes an extension of the landscape.

Located on the banks of the Paraná River, the house takes on a form that responds both to natural conditions and the way of life it is designed to support. Inspired by the green iguana, it represents a physical manifestation of a natural state — just as the iguana retreats into its habitat, the house merges with the land, almost disappearing into it.

The roof, which descends from the edges of the structure, resembles the iguana’s legs bent toward the ground, creating a direct connection between shelter and terrain. This form is not only aesthetic — it is functional, adapting to the microclimate, allowing for natural ventilation and protection from the sun.

ATARhouse: How Salaš 176 Near Novi Sad Got a New Face

We would like to thank Gradnja.rs for publishing our project “ATARhouse,” which we had the pleasure of developing over the past few years.

Our heartfelt thanks also go to our friends and clients, Nevena and Nikola Kudus, for their trust and patience throughout the design and execution of this complex reconstruction.

“In the heart of the plains, at Salaš 176 in Čenej, Architecture Office BIONIQUE carried out a comprehensive reconstruction of the existing buildings with the aim of creating a contemporary space for work and gathering. The original walls and volumes were preserved, and the former stable was transformed into a space for workshops, team-building activities, and staying in a natural environment.”

Discover a 780 m² villa on Avala, surrounded by forest

We are very pleased that, in close collaboration with our clients Ivana Perović and Daniel Shah, we were able to develop a villa project that fully adapts to the steep terrain configuration and dense forest surroundings, preserving the existing trees and making use of natural sunlit zones.

The resulting architectural form, defined by cascading shifts of the floors and a carefully considered material palette, allows the building to blend both visually and spatially into the landscape. At the same time, the functional organization and orientation of the spaces ապահով ideal views, natural lighting, and a strong connection between interior, exterior, and nature throughout the year.

Situated in the heart of the Neretva Valley, in a town renowned for its rich history, proximity to natural beauty, and the vibrant blend of river and Mediterranean ambience, the building thoughtfully balances functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability through its architectural expression.

The courtyard behind the building is envisioned as a small green oasis—a space for socializing, relaxation, and play. Alongside a modern children’s playground, this courtyard fosters a sense of community and further enhances the quality of life within the building.
